Welcome to Traveling Kneads Massage Therapy!

Traveling Kneads is a mobile spa serving the DC Metropolitan area. We are professionally licensed and board certified in DC, Maryland and Virginia. And, we are more than willing to fight the traffic so you won't have to. All you have to do is RELAX. We'll do all the work. However, if you just want to get out of the house and want to visit us, we can be found at Absolute Rehabilitative Therapy (ART) in Greenbelt, MD. Call for address and/or directions.

At Traveling Kneads we offer Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue Massage. Both types of massage use a combination of techniques which include long, rhythmic, gliding strokes used to relax away the tension. These techniques also aid in removing wastes from congested areas, and increase local bloodflow. However, Deep Tissue Massage uses much firmer and deeper pressure that focuses on your problem areas with the intention of reaching less superficial muscles. It may be painful for some if they are not able to fully relax, therefore, we focus only on your most troubling areas with Deep Tissue and not your whole body.
